The college has an Equal Opportunity Centre to ensure equality and equal opportunity to the community at large in the college and bring about social inclusion to the disadvantaged group such as SCs, STs, Women, OBC (non-creamy layer), Minorities and Physically challenged persons.
- 1) To create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and for growth of healthy inter-personal relation among students coming from various background and at the same time to eliminate the perception of discrimination.
- 2) To prepare barrier free formalities/procedures for admission/registration of students belonging to the disadvantaged groups of society.
- 3) To establish co-ordination with Govt. and other agencies/organization to mobilize academic and financial resources to provide assistance to the dis-advantaged groups. To sensitize the college on the problems of SCs/STs and other dis-advantaged and marginalized groups. To adopt measures to ensure due share of utilization by SC/ST in admission, recruitments (Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts) to improve their performances.
